A drive through the country side to see the autumn colours and view the St. Lawrence River will be an unforgettable experience when you take a small detour to visit The Village Antiques and Tea Room with Bed and Breakfast.
This unique place is in the quiet village of Williamsburg on Highway 31, just a five-minute drive north of Morrisburg or 40-minute drive south either from Ottawa, west from Cornwall or east from Brockville.  "We are a little oasis of rural charm and hospitality for rest and relaxation," says owners Victor Dupuis and Marcel Allard.
A Nice Surprise for Travellers Heading to the Seaway Valley.

The owners moved their Le Déjà Vu antique business from Ottawa to the hamlet of Williamsburg in 1989.  They found an empty building with the original frame built in 1860 and went into business.  Victor brings his creative side and Marcel his culinary talents to this venture that offers a combination of antique shop and tea room by day and gourmet dining in the evening.  The Bed and Breakfast area with four guest rooms was added in 1996, making the place a popular spot with a full four-course breakfast offered to guests.  Marcel is a trained chef and with his Acadian heritage has brought French cuisine with a Cajun flair into his eclectic menu.  The lunch menu includes soup of the day served with crackers and his freshly made bread with salads, including open-faced melts such as tuna salad over Belgian bread, topped with Canadian cheddar.  Afternoon tea includes freshly made scones and sweets.
Dinner includes many choices from grilled boneless and skinless breast of chicken with a Dijon wine sauce to a nightly three-course table d'hôte menu.  There is an extensive wine list with French and Canadian wines.  Call (613) 535-2463 or toll-free 1 877 264-3281, or check the Web site:  www.bbtearoom.com.
