Cupid has been very busy setting the stage for tonight & preparing these appetizers for you to savour. From these choices select your pleasures.

First - The Prelude

Cupid’s Elixir or Virgin Caesar with Cupid’s Arrow! You’ll be tickled pink with this soup it’s a real heart warmer. Vichyçoise with a twist served hot with floating hearts or try the Virgin Caesar spiced just right to get your juices flowing & topped off with Cupid’s Arrow!

Second - The Teaser

Escargots Amandine Marcel’s quasi-famous escargots with a "différence". Sauteed in an almond toasted seafood sauce & befitting tonight’s occassion served on a heart shaped puff pastry.
Hearts of Palm From Costa Rica to Williamsburg these palm tree shoots are sumptuously tender! Served with an alfalfa sprout salad & a creamy sauce.
Smoked Oysters An aphrodisiac from the sea. Temptations hard to resist! Served on a cloud of romaine & fresh tomato puree with a sting from cupid’s arrow .
Chèvre On heart shaped puff pastry perfectly poised, this unripened cheese is kissed by the heat of the kitchen & served warm.

Now , let’s waltz down lover’s lane and pick the entrée that suits your fancy. Treats for two or go solo, Cupid ‘s Arrow will find you either way you swing! Sit back, relax, the night is young!

Treat yourself to a bottle from our Wine List to compliment your dinner selections.You may wish to try white with your appetizer choices followed by red to marry with your entrée.

The main Event - Pas de Deux or Dutch Treat
for those who want to do it on their own!

Smoked Loin with apple-raisin sauce A generous loin chop, smoked. Sauce is inspired by Eve’s tempting of Adam combining locally grown apples & rum soaked raisins to cloak this succulent loin chop. Thankfully, this little piggy wasn’t had by the Big Bad Wolf!. Enjoy!
Sicilian Scallops with Shrimp
This offering from the sea is cooked to perfection. Marcel prepares the sea scallops to mouth watering tenderness & combines them with shrimp bathed in a cream sauce. Marry these with ricotta & spinach stuffed pasta floating on salsa & sprinkled with cheese. Ooh ahh, Mmm mmm good!
Rack of Lamb By popular demand we again offer our rack. Encrusted with herbs & spices the crown is grilled with fresh rosemary-in classical times, rosemary was known as the herb of fidelity, love, and abiding friendship and was bound into wedding wreaths. Angels sing to this dish!

The "pièce de résistance"

Warm Apple Crisp "a la mode" Food for the soul on a cold winter’s night. It’s a classic!
New York Chocolate Cheesecake All-time favorite! Dress it up with a berry coulis or chocolate sauce or both. Fit for 5th Avenue! Or a 5th course.
Port & cheddar Ontario Port from Joseph’s Estate Winery of Niagara coupled with a local aged cheddar from Forfar Cheese factory. A dessert alternative for those feeling they may have already over-indulged. Even Bacchus would have approved.
